During Milan Design Week, Missoni presents an immersive installation dedicated to the Caperdoni machine, one of the most iconic tools in its creative heritage. Carefully preserved and used exclusively by Missoni, the machine transforms hand-assembled spools made of a mix of colors into rich and vibrant textile surfaces.
With a production rhythm of just one meter per hour, the fabric emphasizes a concept of luxury tied to the quality of time and attention to detail. Guided by the continuous intervention of the artisan, each piece evolves through a dialogue between control and unpredictability, resulting in a material that is both distinctive and versatile.
Presented for the first time in the home universe, Caperdoni fabric expands into a collection of poufs, throws, cushions, and accessories. A new expression of Missoni’s ongoing exploration of texture and color, where tradition and innovation meet.
