Inside The World of Caperdoni
On-going research and savoir-faire meet in Caperdoni, one of the most distinctive techniques of the Missoni identity. Originally designed for carpet weaving, it is now reinterpreted through experimentation with color, material, and textile construction.
Each piece is born from a slow and precise process, in which time becomes an integral part of the fabric's construction. Caperdoni can work up to 287 colors and 1,188 threads simultaneously, creating three-dimensional surfaces.
A constantly evolving technique: Caperdoni keeps reinventing itself through diverse applications, while maintaining its artisanal nature. A dialogue between experimentation and craftsmanship that has characterized the Missoni language for decades.
