A side dish made with the best seasonal vegetables is the first recipe of 2014 by Angela Missoni made by the boys from Gnam Box.
Ingredients for four people:
1 green cauliflower
2 red onions
The tops of one head of Catalonia chicory
2 cloves of garlic
Extra virgin olive oil
Wash and peel the vegetables and cut them into large pieces.
If the carrots are hard, slice them.
Boil the vegetables for 7-8 minutes, removing them before they lose their colour. In a large deep pan, heat the oil and add the unpeeled yet smashed garlic.
Add the vegetables to the pan and sauté them for about 5-6 minutes stirring them with a wooden spoon.
Taste for salt at the end and serve with fresh ground pepper.
You can also use this recipe as a condiment for short or long pasta.
