Flowers, weaves, colours and a somewhat psychedelic flare for Missoni’s wonderland: it was an upside-down world with many nuances including almost pyrotechnic images and a set design with overlapping zigzags created by Missoni and AAAHHHAAA.
There were also decontextualized, playful pieces by Missoni Home in addition to a porcelain collection by Missoni by Richard Ginori. The cocktail party was held yesterday and celebrated two new spring dinnerware lines: Flowers, which has a pop orchid print and Zigzag, which boasts the iconic pattern, but with a psychedelic feel.
Margherita Maccapani Missoni wore a Missoni vintage look from the Zigzag in Time re-edition, while Guido Taroni wore blue and brown from the Men’s S/S 2014 collection (both looks available in the gallery here below).
Guests included Anna dello Russo, Micol Sabbadini, Marta Ferri, Francesca Cavallin, who wore blue pants, and Yvonne Sciò, who chose an outfit from the Summer 2014 collection; while Georgia Tal mixed shapes and colours from the Fall 2014 collection.
