Halloween and orange tones

It is the colour of the month, the season, but most of all, of Halloween. Here are some little fashion suggestions on the night of the witches

As 31 October approaches, the first thing one thinks is that if orange is the colour of autumn, why not celebrate the night of witches with the colour that best characterizes it?

 

Halloween is easy to associate with trick or treating yet harder to remember that in antiquity, it was a way of celebrating the arrival of winter followed by All Saints Day. While in America, it could be considered the first local festival in which universal values like generosity and a sense of community are celebrated.

 

For those who don’t see Halloween as just spider webs, the colour black and pointy hats, we have some  fashion suggestions, from mustard to ochre, elegantly worn with some pieces from our Fall 2013 collection. If you are in New York, stop by our boutique at 1009 Madison Avenue to get a small Halloween pumpkin:  orange is the new black.
