A Mua Mua Doll for Rosita Missoni

The National Chamber of Fashion has presented Rosita Missoni with a custom-made Mua Mua Doll in her likeness, celebrating her honours for services to the industry

Last night (Friday, June 20th), on the occasion of the opening cocktail party for Milan Fashion Week in the historic Palazzo Spinola, the Italian Chamber of Fashion presented Rosita Missoni with a custom-made Mua Mua Doll in her likeness, complete with braid and colourful dress in original Missoni fabric. The soirée in honour of the designer celebrated her recent appointment to the Order of Merit for Labour, the most prestigious decoration in Italy.

Created by Italian designer Ludovica Virga, Mua Mua Dolls are small, hand-crafted good luck charms made in Bali, a must-have piece for fashion victims and art collectors. These playful figures portray leading personalities of fashion and contemporary art, and may be found in the best concept stores all over the world.
